ArtFest09 participants created weather studies in a variety of media to explore weather conditions. The unpredictable turbulence in the local weather continued to emerged thematically as they studied the atmospheric qualities in two dimensions.

The slideshow below is a creative remix of student work to emulate the lighting qualities of the final three-dimensional installation. Click on the "view all images" control on the bottom right to see the artwork without special effects.
